The Department of Culture announced today that the deadline to request a place in the Prehistory Workshop "Cavernario" is now open, an activity that will take place this Saturday 20, at 12:00h noon at the Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Center and that he will try to teach the smallest and smallest of the house the origins of Humanity.
Due to the health situation, councilor David Tejeiro has recalled that the capacity will be limited to 40 people and to register it will be necessary to contact the municipal library by phone 952 385 282 or by sending an email to the address biblioteca@torremolinos.es. "As in the other activities aimed at children that we are carrying out, safety measures are taken into account as much in the establishment of groups as in the mandatory use of masks, distances and hand washing, our priority is to maintain these proposals that are in great demand among families”, said the person in charge of the area.
The session this Saturday coordinated by Cavernario is designed for boys and girls from 5 to 12 years old. The thematic workshop aims to explain Prehistory in a fun and didactic way, taking a trip to the past, to the origins of Humanity to learn about the way of life of our ancestors, showing parts of their customs, their art and, ultimately, their culture .
For this, the boys and girls will be able to participate in three workshops. The first will be about cave painting, the second will be about Neolithic pottery and, finally, there will be a hunting class (archery). In this way, boys and girls will actively participate by simulating a moment in the daily life of our ancestors, experiencing new sensations and learning the social and survival techniques of the societies that preceded us.
