Culture fills the Casa de Los Navajas with color with a new exhibition

The Councilor for Culture, David Tejeiro, this morning attended the opening of the painting exhibition ‘Color Time’, together with local artists Graciela Inés Valinoti and Sara Farias.

 

The exhibition includes a total of 33 works in which different pictorial techniques are used, from oil to acrylic and can be visited on weekends at the Casa de Los Navajas until next March 7, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. : 00 and from 16:00 to 18:00 hours.

 

The mayor explained that this exhibition gives continuity to the exhibition program that has been designed this first quarter, "Times of Color that give us a bit of positivism and joy in these tough times that we are living." In this sense, Tejeiro has advanced that "the Casa de Los Navajas is going to establish itself as a permanent exhibition space that will have content throughout the year."

The exhibition 'Color Time' can be visited on weekends until next March 7.

The head of culture has invited all the neighbors to "stop by the Casa de Los Navajas, a place that is already worth visiting" and enjoy the art and culture that, "as we have shown since it the restrictions started, it's safe ”. The councilor recalled that from the area of ??Culture they have not stopped scheduling events and organizing activities at any time, "we are very stubborn and although sometimes we have had to cancel, other times change dates and in some cases reinvent them completely, We believe that culture is necessary for people and artists who have to bring their art to others ”.

 

The exhibition houses 18 works by Graciela Valinoti, a painter of Italian-Argentine nationality and resident of Torremolinos, who has already held different exhibitions in Mar de Plata and Buenos Aires, in Argentina, as well as in Barcelona and the municipality itself. Valinoti was trained at the Manuel Belgrano School in Buenos Aires and taught drawing classes in Mar de Plata.
