Torremolinos, March 10, 2021.
The cycle 'March, the theater month' brings this Saturday to the Príncipe de Asturias Municipal Auditorium starting at 12.00 hours the play 'Hambre', a proposal by the Malaga company La Líquida that combines music , theater and gastronomy to fill spirits, stomachs and consciences, as explained by its protagonist, David García-Intriago, in the presentation of the programming promoted by the Culture area of ??the Torremolinos City Council.
'Hambre' is a play that has passed through the XXXIV Malaga Theater Festival, the 33rd Castle of Niebla Theater and Dance Festival, the Malaga Youth Theater Series, the III Navalcarnero Theater, Humor and Wine Series, the Asturian Theater Circuit and the Malaga International Theater Festival, among other competitions. Now he lands in Torremolinos proposing a wonderful journey full of humor that confirms that laughter is the food of the soul and that culture is the only thing that can save us.
The play directed by David García-Intriago will be performed this coming Saturday, March 13 at 12 noon.
"Culture saves us and continues to show that it is safe, we are not going to tire of saying and demonstrating it, since there are dozens of activities that we have organized in the municipality since the pandemic began, complying with all security measures and without registering not a single incident or source of contagion ”, said the Councilor for Culture, David Tejeiro.
Directed and performed by David García-Intriago, the proposal features live music by Santiago Vockam and María Prado that results in a hilarious, interactive and surprising multidisciplinary work of theater about the Golden Age, with baroque sounds and Cervantine gastronomy by the most primitive needs of the human being and the hungriest of the novels: 'Don Quixote'.
