The Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Center hosts this Friday at 5.30 pm the presentation and subsequent screening of the film ‘El Culpable’, directed by Jorge Porras and Fran Rodríguez. A free activity, with a limited capacity of 59 places, for which it is necessary to request an invitation from today until next Thursday, by phone 625 063 941 or by email jorgepca82@gmail.com, as reported by the Department of Culture of the Torremolinos City Council.

'El Culpable' is a police thriller that has the Costa del Sol as a witness to continuous attacks by members of a Colombian gang that works under the name 'Los Cauca'. The person in charge of monitoring and solving these cases will be Inspector Samuel Alarcón, starting with the mysterious murders of Andrés Varela and his wife, a high-income couple from the Malaga area.

The only witness to the murder is Darien Gabriel Varela Aranda, who is the best and only source of information for the inspector, who will need the help of all his colleagues at the police station to find the culprit. But the investigation turns upside down when a tragic and dark story is revealed that will make everything in Inspector Alarcón's life change forever.

The presentation will be attended by the Malaga filmmaker Jorge Porras who writes and stars in this play, and who directs a fiction film for the first time after having worked on the documentary ‘El Gran Salto’.

Porras has a great career as an actor, having participated in a fortnight of feature films, television series and short films. He has participated in productions such as 'Toy Boy' on Antena 3 or 'The Crown' on the Netflix platform
