Torremolinos, January 12, 2021. The Department of Culture of the Torremolinos City Council organizes on January 16 a show of classical ballet at the Prince of Asturias Municipal Auditorium. It will be at 12 o'clock in the morning and it is a free activity, with a capacity limited to 250 seats, offered by the Torremolinos Dance Center. The first part of the show is titled ‘The class’ and will be enlivened with music by Lisa Harris and Silvina Rouco. The second consists of pieces by Bach, Strauss, Griev, Franz von Suppé, Rossini and Delibes. To end the show, the company stages a piece of neoclassical music with the overture of the Grand Showman.

The Torremolinos Dance Center follows the methodology of the British system: Imperial Classical Ballet (ISTD) and the Royal Academy of Dance, and its purpose is to make known the technical work behind a choreography: the discipline, the rehearsals, the repetition of steps, and of course ... the illusion.
