Torremolinos, March 12, 2021.

The Culture area of the Torremolinos City Council organizes a new exhibition at the Casa de Los Navajas, this time, of photographs and under a completely feminine and feminized gaze. Under the title ’Among women’, the exhibition exhibits 93 images by 14 photographers from all over Spain that approach the feminine from the gaze of women.

The exhibition that opens today can be visited on weekends until next April 11.

Without abandoning the vindictive proposal that starts from the celebration of International Women's Day on March 8 and sheltered from the rest of the cultural activities that have been carried out this week, the exhibition addresses themes such as love, loneliness, struggle, sickness, impotence, strength, beauty ...

‘Among women’ delves into the different ways of approaching these common themes and also women's relationships through the objectives of these 14 photographers in a complete search for the feminine.

Sara Álvarez, Airam Amezcua, Raquel Barbero, María A. Cañete, Mariquilla Cuevas, Helena Delgado, Fran Doblas, María Gallego, Cristina García-Camino, Marta Girón, Esther Lobo, Titali Páez, Alicia Soblechero and Ohiana DeMarco, participate in this exhibition curated by Fran Doblas.
