Torremolinos, April 20, 2021.

The Malaga Provincial Council has published, on April 16, the bases of the XXIV Generación del 27 International Poetry Prize and the XXII Emilio Prados International Poetry Prize, a contest, aimed at authors under 35 years of age, who with the passing of the time has become a benchmark in young Spanish poetry.

You can already consult in the Official Gazette of the Province of Malaga, the rules that will govern both contests, whose call and deadlines still do not have a defined date for the presentation of works.

The XXII Emilio Prados International Poetry Prize is endowed with 6,000 euros and the edition of the work by the publishing house "Pre-Textos", while the XXIV International Poetry Prize Generación del 27 is endowed with 15,000 euros and the edition will run in charge of "Book Viewer".

In both contests, the works may have a free theme and have a minimum of 500 verses. They will be presented in digital format (pendrive, CD), and an original on DIN-A-4 paper stapled or duly bound, written on a computer, double-spaced and single-sided.

Only the title of the work and a pseudonym will be stated in the originals.
